Three days to reflect on memories past

Of loved ones ascended to heaven above

Bringing to our eyes hidden tears

By the fond memories of those we loved

But, like the tears, the rain must fall

So new flowers will begin to grow

Above the clouds, stands a rainbow for all

With all its colors within fresh sunlight’s glow

Times to remember the women and men

Who fought to keep our country free?

To seek acquaintances with old and new friends

In saluting with pride, those who died for liberty

And as the sun sets in the West

May we all take heed to a time-spent dream

That unto every man and woman we’ll do our best

To put an end to the fighting and torment of

Death and its painful screams
